The purpose of the Archives of the Society of Jesus in Hungary is to collect and preserve the archival sources of enduring value concerning the operation, institutions (including both ecclesiastical and secular works) and members of the Hungarian Province of the Society of Jesus and of its legal predecessors.
Its official name is 'Archives of the Hungarian Province of the Society of Jesus'.
