Our Historical Library serves as a reference library for the researchers of the Archives. Its collection interests predominantly include 'Jesuitica', i.e. books by (Hungarian and international) Jesuit authors, periodicals connected to the Society of Jesus, as well as works on (mainly the history of) Jesuits. Additionally, it contains and collects volumes on more general church history and hagiography together with relevant historical reference works, monographs and source editions. It has got a notable series of old printed books (pre-1850) as well.
